Of all the things that make me rage, the wannabe Blue October fans probably piss me off the most. Some of them don't even realize what they are. These people don't understand that Blue October isn't just another band, and fans don't just have an album or two on their iPod.
Blue October is a lifestyle.
Justin's (lead singer) lyrics mean so much to real fans, it's impossible to describe the impact. These fans find almost everything in Blue October; feeling, comfort, inspiration, release. It's almost ridiculous how much Justin's voice consumes your life.
You go home from a hard day, and listen.
You wake up and start your day with Blue October.
More than half your Facebook status updates are Justin's lyrics.
You understand the lyrics and you feel like they understand you.
And then there's those people who ask "What is this song about? I don't understand."
IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND YOU SHOULD NOT BE LISTENING IN THE FIST PLACE.
Yes, I'm a dedicated fan. It was an instant connection when I found Blue October.
So to the "fans" who don't even know the name's of the band members:
Just go away.
